Also, the new console’s UI will be called LiveArea, which has a bunch of vertically navigable home screens and built-in social networking (presumably through PSN). You can jump between games and the LiveArea without losing your progress and comment on your buddies’ great feats of mobile gaming.

A number of games was also mentioned/shown in the NGP presentation, here they are:

  • Killzone
  • Uncharted
  • WipEout
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Call of Duty
  • Resistance
  • Little Deviants
  • Hot Shots Golf
  • Reality Fighters
  • Gravity Daze
  • Smart As
  • Broken
  • Hustle Kings
  • Dungeon Defenders
  • Ryu Ga Gotoku / Yakuza
  • Dynasty Warriors
  • Metal Gear Solid

Quite a couple of big names yeah? It’s a pretty awesome list I bet!

Also announced at the event was Playstation Suite. It is a new software that will allow Android phones to be able to download Playstation titles and play them. It seems this feature will work on Android 2.3 and up (which means my current phone can’t haha!) But I don’t really need this as I have a PSP at the moment. These phones can access the Playstation Store and download game titles like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7,etc.

Here’s what I have at the moment, there’s just so many things I can’t possibly contain everything but this is all you guys need to know now! Enjoy!
