Revoltech Jehuty is real!

Many people have been dying for figurines based on the main character of Kojima Hideo’s Zone of The Enders franchise..official ones to be precise. Most of them have either been customs made by those who can make them or garage kits here and there. Finally and thank god finally, an official licensed figurine of Jehuty have been announced and no less its from Kaiyodo’s Revoltech Yamaguchi line. Here’s a look at the images of this fantastic mech.

E3 Roundup: Sony

Yesterday’s Sony Press Conference was amazing, I’ll sum up the main news from it below (All screeshots and images courtesy of IGN):

Sly Cooper Collection

The Sly Cooper series, all 3 platformer games of the series, will be returning to the PS3 remastered and in 3D (when the feature is out) Sanzaru Games will be working to upscale the game for release. It will feature new Move exclusive mini-games, Trophies and 3D support. It is slated to be released in Fall 2010.

Motorstorm Apocalype

The next game in the Motorstorm series of games is coming to the PS3, this time set in a chaotic US. The area around your course is changing so I expect that certain portions of the track will change depending on laps or on the go track changes. 3D is once again supported in this title along with 4 player splitscreen multiplayer and custom car settings.

Portal 2 coming to PS3

In an unexpected appearance at the Sony PressCon, Gabe Newell of Valve fame himself announced Portal 2 coming to the PS3 and giving a release date of 2011. The PS3 version of Portal 2 will also feature Steamworks in several ways, including game updates, community features, and connecting players to the Steam Cloud. A trailer was shown at the even which you can see below. Check out IGN for more info about Portal 2.

Heroes on the Move

Would you believe if I said Ratchet, Jak and Sly Cooper are teaming up in one mega blockbuster Move game? Well, believe it. Heroes on the Move is a Platformer featuring those 3 characters and allies from their games too. They also seem to play just like their original counterparts. Definitely look out for this game in the future!

Playstation Move Release date and Price

Move will hit Europe on September 15, Australia on September 16, North America on September 19, and Japan on October 21. Guess I just found my birthday present 🙂 The main Move controller retails at $49.99 (USD) and the Navigation Controller at $29.99. For people without PS Eye like myself, there will be a bundle of one PS Move Controller, Navigation Controller, PS Eye and Sports Champion for $99.99. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Killzone 3

Killzone 3 will be out in February 2011 supporting 3D and Playstation Move.  More footage was shown in the Sony event, which you can again check at IGN.Below is the boxart for the game (tentatively)

God Of War: Ghost of Sparta

God of War: Ghost of Sparta, officially unveiled. Ready at Dawn will be taking the helm of making this game yet again. As usual, more ass-kicking with Kratos as he kicks more godly ass.

Gran Turismo 5 release date and Limited Edition

November 2 2010, remember that day, the day many of you have been yearning for.  The limited edition will have a free car model, 300 page car lovers guide, keychain, all only for $99. It is also said that Sebastien Vettel and Adrian Newey are involved with the game, no mention of what will their involvement be.

There will be a paid online subscription for Playstation Network called the Playsation Plus, for $49.99 for a year or $16.99 for 3 months. For those buying the 1 year subscription, they will have 3 free months added as a bonus.Plus users will gain access to discount on PSN items, free and exclusive access to certain games, full game trials and early beta invites of popular games.

Members will always have access to the free games too.

and the biggest of all….

Twisted Metal PS3

Sweet Tooth is back and in full force! Twisted Metal will have a single player campaign, 16player online multiplayer and whole lots of carnage. Online, instead of playing as characters, you’ll be playing under factions. There will be new multiplayer modes and aerial vehicles. Check out IGN as they have a full coverage of the game here:

Kevin Butler

I almost shed a tear to this epic section of the conference. Look at it and weep like a gamer would.

That’s pretty much it for Sony, pretty blockbuster stuff, i’m sure they did quite well this year.
